“The Terrorist Attack at Ft. Hood—the New ‘911’ Sneak Attack Committed from within (once again)”
Bakersfield, CA, 11-08-2009: The murderous rampage that took place at Fort Hood the other day (Thursday 11-05-2009) and was committed by an army psychiatrist was another dreadful event in the War on Terror as the man is also a Muslim. Major Nidal Malik Hasan, age 39, unmarried and with no dependents joined the military in 1995 and became both a medical doctor and a psychiatrist with the help on the taxpayers’ dime while serving in the United States Army. The Major suffered grievous injuries in the attack, having been shot by two civilian police officers as he killed 13 and wounded at least 38 enlisted men and women as they sat in the Soldier Readiness Processing Center (SRPC) preparing for overseas deployment. This is one of the most vulnerable sites on any military base as those heading overseas to combat zones are given last minute medical and/or dental treatment and are taking care of their personal business before shipping out.
Major Hasan stated on his enlistment papers that he had “no religious preference” but has been a practicing Muslim his entire life which opens the door up to either having been deceptive in his statements or “other.” Major Hasan was under investigation by the FBI for the past six months due to statements critical of the United States’ involvement in the wars in both Iraq and in Afghanistan because like many Americans, he feels we should not be there but for different reasons. He dealt with military personnel returning from combat zones and was supposed to render counseling to soldiers in need of it. For him, according to his family, he heard things that were too much for his sensitivities concerning Islam and what he referred to as “America’s war on Islam;” it’s unfortunate how many remember the events of September 11, 2001!
The dead soldiers departed Fort Hood for Dover Air Force Base for autopsy and the Major was sent to the Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio for treatment of his injuries. He reportedly is in a coma and what looks to be paralysis from the waist down and his transfer, according to Colonel John Rossi at approximately 8:15 P.M. Friday night, was done under heavy guard by federal agents to insure both his safety and the public’s. Currently, the FBI has gone to his apartment and has conducted searches and have removed his computer for investigation as it’s been reported that he has shared his criticisms online through blog postings. What is clear is that Major Hasan was due to be deployed to Afghanistan and this impending situation accordingly caused him great fear due to his religious feelings and several days prior to the shooting, he was reportedly giving away most of his belongings because he did not expect to come back.
This opens up a major can of worms as it’s been a stated goal of al-Qaida and other terrorist organizations to insert sleepers into the Armed Forces so they could attack military personnel from within. The hijackers of September 11, 2001 were all in place in the United States for many years living otherwise nondescript lives and only went into action once the final word came through from Central Asia. If the terrorists could insert sleepers throughout all branches of the military, it could sow the seeds of doubt, if not fear, throughout the military units in which Muslim or Arabic-South Asian-appearing men serve. Moreover, they could become targets themselves if paranoid soldiers act beforehand even if they had no involvement themselves in any terrorist plots. Once the military has lost its integrity, it can become a very difficult scenario in which to function and it raises one very important question:
Should all Muslim/Middle Eastern military personnel be segregated or removed from the armed forces? This would have been heretofore unimaginable but after this horrible incident, something has to be done. It’s bad enough that our young enlisted men and women are being killed on battlefields around the world, in places both known and unknown, but to have them get slaughtered in the most vulnerable of circumstances must be addressed and soon as enlistments will begin to fall off or hate crimes will increase. It’s clear that our number one enemy at the moment is radical, fundamentalist Islam and those entities would love nothing more than to insert sleepers throughout the services and wreak havoc. Several events of this magnitude would begin to break down cohesion, not only in combat but in supposedly secure circumstances.
What’s more, we have absolutely NO experience with this clandestine war as our recent-most experience of any similarity was the conflict overseas in Vietnam. Of course, in-country, there was NO frontlines as the Vietcong were able to infiltrate agents into almost all areas of service, the Navy, notwithstanding; however, the Vietcong never had the ability to strike within the United States unless, somehow, they were able to stir up the Antiwar Movement which seems an impossibility unless it was accomplished through third parties like the USSR or Red China. Now, however, it is clearly possible and before we know it, we may be fighting them in the streets ala the experience of the Israelis in which suicide bombers and sabotage could occur frequently. This is NOT something that the United States will likely give into; no, it is possible that the opposite will be the case and that Muslims will find they’re not welcome within America’s borders.
Major Hasan had expressed to fellow officers that he had ‘hopes of President Barack Obama pulling forces out of Iraq and out of Afghanistan’ and these statements were recalled by Col. Terry Lee (Ret) who spoke on Fox News on Thursday night. He also added that he had heard Major Hasan make other inflammatory statements that drew a response such as their being ‘improper’ for an officer of the U.S. Army. What’s puzzling is that he had a morbid fear of going overseas as he would be seen as ‘traitorous’ and being a “participant” in a ‘war on Islam.’ Being a military psychiatrist, however, obviously meant that he would not be serving in the field but it has become clear that he had a number of second thoughts about having enlisted in the first place and then being deployed.
Its one thing when a soldier will ‘refuse to go’ when being deployed due to fear or due to a crisis of conscience. We have had a few over the past few years that have questioned a president’s legal authority to send them to their station. This happened to President George W. Bush and recently to President Barack Obama which has ended with either being sent to their station or an alternate one or with being expelled from the ranks. Others who have questioned authority have done what has become the standard since the Vietnam era and that is to go to another nation such as Canada or Sweden which always seem to be happy to take in our wayward military personnel.
The one thing that is hard for most non-Muslim Americans to understand is that Islam, never having had a “reformation” like Christianity still has the same mindset as it did during the days of the Prophet Mohammud more than a thousand years ago. Sure, there are always apostate or “liberal” Muslims but these are the same people who would be massacred along with the infidels should they disclose their feelings or let the truth be known. The most important thing in a Muslim’s life is the umma, the community of Islam[i] and it is not something a believer can rebel against. No Muslim is supposed to slay a fellow Muslim (although it seems to happen frequently enough) and it’s not something that Major Hasan felt was doable but how would this happen then, if he was not a front line soldier? Hell, he wasn’t a soldier, he was known as “in the rear with the gear” meaning that he was NOT going to be anywhere around combat!
Add to this the fact that being in the service of a western nation brings with it the idea of being traitorous because he is serving a “Christian master” (how the Islamofascists would see it even though we are a secular nation) and to serve either Jews or Christians would be an act worthy of being condemned to hell. The Islamic hell of the Koran is far worse than any hell in Christianity and while the Jews don’t really have a place that equates, theirs is similar to the versions espoused by the ancient Greeks.
That leads us to our next tableau—was he just in it for the free career on the taxpayer’s dime? Until having been posted to Fort Hood, located approximately 100 miles south of Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas, only six months ago, he had spent the rest of his time at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC (1995-12-2008) where he received his education, spent his fellowship, his internship, and his residency. Then, once the War on Terror had begun, he found himself counseling military personnel returning from the war. It’s clear that this situation put too much strain upon Major Hasan due to his personal involvement with Islam and also due to the fact that he overrode his father’s concern about not wanting him to join the military leaves us with only one conclusion: he wanted the education but not the commitment.
So, we have to understand this: radical blog postings were placed online in the name of Nidal Malik Hasan but so far, they aren’t conclusively his but the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the CID are doing the catch-up work now. Islamofascists and sympathizers post comments and posts around the Internet and if the Major has been doing this since the war began, his comments are rather radical for an officer of the United States Army. One comment reads as follows:
“If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory” but as of yet has not been proven to have been authored by him. Expounding on this, “Nidal Hasan” also wrote words to the effect of ‘anyone who throws himself on a hand grenade to save his fellow soldiers (a “hero”) is no different than one who sets out to kill the enemy and killing himself in order to do so.’ If these words are his, it’s clear that his man who has been given poor performance ratings by his officers was unfit to counsel those most vulnerable and in need of a compassionate listener/counselor. It is clear that more will be disclosed over the next few weeks and we will be working on this story fairly often due to its importance.
In conclusion, it’s interesting how this is pulling all of the television news pundits from the criticisms of President Obama’s healthcare fiasco and has taken pressure off of the struggling Democrats who have been fighting it out within their own ranks. Hispanic Caucus members want illegals to be covered and other pro-life Democrats do not want any federal tax dollars to be spent on abortion. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is struggling to keep control of her own party while the Republicans continue to be blamed for all setbacks. What a world we live in! Of course no one is suggesting that this was somehow “engineered” to remove the strain from the Democratic leadership who has done its best to shield the public from the nuts and bolts of not only Healthcare Reform but also Cap-and-Trade as both will harm the nation’s economic base.
On Saturday, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Steny Hoyer (D-Maryland), the House Speaker and the House Majority Leader respectively, were doing their best to move the bill forward and as of the time of this writing, were counting votes in a rare Saturday session of congress. They were spared having to suffer criticisms by conservative and other groups who do not want this healthcare fiasco to become law. Of course, if it is passed, it still has a long ways to go and will eventually need to be melded with a Senate Bill before it can go to the President’s desk for his signature and THEN it will become law. So, the horrific attack launched by Major Nidal Malik Hasan spared them one day of being bashed by the Fox News organization and from other groups. We will report on this as soon as we can.
Anyhow, remember to keep the lives of all those who murdered and wounded during the terrorist attack in your thoughts and also, pray for Major Hasan to recover so he can be held accountable for his crimes. Pray, too, for his family, as according to them, they are just as shocked by the events of November 05, 2009 that took place at Ft. Hood.
