“The Battle against Islamic Terrorism in the former ‘War on Terror’ Continues within the United States and in Afghanistan”
Bakersfield, CA, 11-15-2009: The former “War on Terror” grinds on around the world on various fronts but the most important battle is the one going on, on the Home Front. We learned on Friday that the principal planners of September 11, 2001 are going to be brought to New York City to stand trial for their crimes. When Attorney General Eric Holder announced this stunning decision Friday morning, it led to an outcry of people who are concerned with the terrorists coming to a federal courthouse that overlooks the former World Trade Center which, by the way, is still not rebuilt. Khalid Shaikh Mohammud (KSM) will be coming “home” so to speak and a lot of people, such as survivors of the attack or their loved ones are outraged just as many politicians are. Rep. Peter King, R-NY, and former “America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani who was in charge of the city at that time are both outraged. Needless to say, President Barack Obama is out of town, overseas in Asia, in fact, which seems to be the normal way things happen in his administration. It is the same way that another fellow Chicagoan, Al Capone, used; when a “hit” was ordered, he’d leave town so he could plead total ignorance when questioned about it by the police. Now, the president wouldn’t leave town now would he? Hmmm?
Meanwhile in Texas, reports have come out that the Fort Hood shooter, U.S. Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan is reportedly paralyzed from the waist down. What a shame is all we can think, it’s too bad but Mr. Hasan is guilty of killing FOURTEEN people, 13 adults and the unborn child of one of the soldiers who was pregnant at the time of the shooting. Hasan is an Islamic terrorist and deserves to get the death penalty and it’s too bad that we couldn’t bring in a Saudi executioner to behead him and then crucify the body as they’ve recently done with a child molester in Riyadh. Major Hasan deserves absolutely NO mercy but it’s clear that in the Obama Administration, he will most likely get a pat on the back and given an award that will be paid by police sergeant Kimberly Munley who is credited with ending his rampage.
The third topic to discuss is the continuing decline of our forces fighting bravely in Afghanistan while the President continues to deliberate as to whether or not he is going to send reinforcements? Coincidentally, just when he was getting close to a decision (uh huh?), the ambassador to Kabul came out and said, “No, don’t send the troops! The place is corrupt!” Gee, I thought we knew that already, and we thought the President was still going to send the troops so we could put the Taliban down once and for all? This would be a slapstick comedy if it wasn’t deadly serious! People are dying every day over there and not just our troops, but NATO soldiers as well. All I know is that any nation friendly with the United States should pay close attention to our travails over there and our loyalties; if we are letting our own soldiers get butchered in the fight of their lives while the President is dithering is beyond comprehension and it’s needs to stop!
Four other men are coming to New York with Khalid Shaikh Mohammud, and they include men in on the planning as well as one or two in the bombing of the USS Cole in a Yemeni port. Those who are upset over this move by the Justice Department are being pegged as Right Wing hysterics who are mad just because the Obama Administration is doing it and not the Bush #43 Administration. No, Bush would not have done this and even though life imprisonment without some sort of hearing in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba should NOT be permissible, they should be given military tribunals as PRISONERS OF WAR. These men will come to the scene of the crime and it will become the biggest forum in the world in which to make us look stupid and also through the process of discovery will expose a lot of our CIA agents to the world. Didn’t Dick Cheney’s chief of Staff, Lewis “Scooter” Libby get prosecuted for “outing” Valerie Plame, the so-called covert agent who wasn’t covert? Why the double standard? Is this Bush-hatred once again?
To give terrorists the rights of American citizens is absolutely crazy unless, of course, they’re American citizens which they’re NOT; however, if one is taken on a foreign battlefield fighting against his or her own country, there should be absolutely NO mercy shown. The fact that the so-called “American Taliban”, John Walker Lindh who was captured on the battlefield in Afghanistan during the initial invasion in 2001 is alive and well in an American prison testifies to the character of our troops who could have put a bullet through his head. One who has joined the Jihadists does not deserve mercy in any way and he is lucky he is locked up in his home country and NOT in Egypt or Saudi Arabia—but I digress.
Too many people believe that the Obama Administration’s bringing the GITMO detainees to the mainland for trial is not only an unintelligent act but it’s also putting New York City and its people at risk. The terrorists WANT TO DIE and martyrdom is the number one way to earn passage into heaven and the forty-two virgins who are awaiting them. It stimulates their fellow jihadists to do whatever they can to cause turmoil during these trials not to mention the terrorists, themselves turning the courthouse into a stage by which to disseminate their hatred, racist views about how horrible the West is. Anyone who was twelve years old or older in 1969 can recall the trial in Los Angeles of the Manson Family, homicidal maniacs led by a Satan-like charismatic figure who had the power to motivate his followers to go forth into the world to kill innocent people in cold blood. I mean, if you look at it, Manson and his followers are no different than the jihadists who feel the same compulsions. The only thing that is different is the ideology—Manson’s family did it for a psychotic and jihadists do it for Islam.
Now, a fourth issue is taking place and that’s the investigation going on around the country and that’s the FBI raids on mosques in four cities and the taking over of a high-rise in Manhattan? On Thursday, federal prosecutors moved against four mosques, one each in California, Maryland, New York City, and Houston and also seized land in Virginia. Added to this was the aforementioned 36-story office tower located at 650 Fifth Avenue that on the FOX News Channel looked pretty swanky. In addition to all of this, bank accounts were seized and forfeiture of assets was sought, all of this tied to the Alavi Foundation, suspected of funneling funds to the Iranian nuclear program.
Who or what is the Alavi Foundation? U.S. Federal Prosecutors allege that the foundation has been illegally “providing numerous services to the Iranian government”—as well as large amounts of funds from various Islamic charities. This group is most likely one among many that has secretly been aiding the Tehran government as their assets and funds have been frozen in the U.S. since the Iranian Hostage Crisis of 1979. The Iranians and the United States have been on the outs with one another and it’s clear that a lot of fundraising goes on within the United States and has done so since that year. We are so glad that the government has decided to move as it’s about time that the federal government moved on Iran. Is Major Hasan connected to this somehow? At the moment, probably not but in the world of Islamic Fundamentalism, it’s unclear as the most vile enemies can ally with one another to hurt the Great Satan; it surely wouldn’t be the first time.
On Thursday, U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara told the press: “As today’s complaint alleges in great detail, the Alavi Foundation has effectively been a front for the government of Iran. For two decades, the Alavi Foundation’s affairs have been directed by various Iranian officials, including Iranian ambassadors to the United Nations, in violation of a series of American laws.”
A spokesman for Bharara told reporters, “Tenants and occupants remain free to use the properties. There are no allegations of any wrongdoing on the part of any of these tenants or occupants” said Yusill Scribner. The International Emergency Economic Powers Act allows for properties to be seized as proceeds of violations of money-laundering businesses. Needless to say, a spokesperson for the Iranians was dismayed with the attention that’s being directed their way regarding the charges against them (Meyer).
Anyhow, as far as Major Hasan is concerned, he’s been officially charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and setting into motion one of the most notorious court martial prosecutions in history, at least within our memory. The only other one that comes to mind was that of Lieutenant William L. Calley, Jr. concerning the My Lai Massacre that took place on March 16, 1968 when the C Company, First Battalion, 20th Infantry, 11th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division moved against a hostile Vietnamese hamlet and killed an estimated 150 old men, women, and children. Lt. Calley was the only one found guilty of atrocities and was sentenced to life imprisonment. That sentence was reduced to 10 years and finally, he was paroled on March 19, 1974 (Summers 1985). Regardless of what one thinks, the war America fought in Vietnam was not a good one, the troops were NOT given proper support and C Company had been out in the bush getting men killed by booby traps, mines, and other lethal unmanned devices for more than a week so tension and anger was high AND gunshots were fired at them.
Hasan’s attorney, John R. Galligan, is concerned that his client won’t get a fair trial if it’s held at Ft. Hood. Having informed CNN that he recently had spoken with Major Hasan, he reported to the media that his charge is under heavy sedation and cannot feel anything below his waist. He is still being held at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, under heavy guard and at the same time, twelve of his victims are still being kept in the hospital with one of them still in intensive care. Meanwhile back at Ft. Hood, the investigation continues to go on as the site where the shootings took place is still cordoned off. According to the investigators, more than 100 rounds were fired from the two handguns the Major took with him to the medical center.
So, once again, the “War on Terror” continues to move forward but is a criminal matter and NOT an act of terrorism. We are not clear as to why President Obama has done his best to eradicate the use of the Bush-era terminology other than because he wants to eradicate anything related to the former president. It’s sad that he feels the need to do this but it’s reminiscent of the ancient Romans as different consuls did their best to obliterate the laws that were passed by their rivals. The consuls were elected in pairs and the term in office was for one year. Gaius Marius was perhaps the greatest of ALL consuls simply for being consul SEVEN times which was unheard of; Lucius Cornelius Sulla, once an able aide to Marius and later a rival did his best to overturn all of Marius’ laws due to his hatred of his former benefactor and then when the greatest Roman of all times, Julius Caesar became consul, he overturned most of the laws of both of these men who, by the way, were his uncles. Caesar faced the same problems with his competitors and this single factor is what drove him to become dictator and which led to his eventual assassination. Finally, his nephew Octavius became the consul and in time became “Emperor Augustus.”
In conclusion, the end result of all of this is that it seems President Obama is determined to overturn any-and-everything connected to the Bush Administration and all we can hope is that he doesn’t put this nation at risk through his careless actions. We are grateful that he is moving against the Iranians but to bring these terrorists from GITMO to New York will become a fiasco and will cost tens of millions of dollars and these men will spout hatred, lies, and filth to not only embarrass the United States but to demonstrate the weakness of this nation to the world and JIHAD will continue in the courts. Please, Mr. President, don’t do this, let them be tried using military tribunals. Please do not make an error that will damn your administration in the elections of 2010 and 2012. Also, please send the troops your handpicked general Stanley McChrystal has asked for to win the war in Afghanistan. Don’t pull a Roman blunder by being petty and striking out at the Bush Administration—since when did you become “Dictator?” Enough’s enough! Please, do the right thing!
Thank you, my friends!

Who are you people to criticize Muslims and talk about “Terror?” There would be NO terror if you pigs would leave Muslim lands and quit supporting Israel. You have not seen terror, yet, but you will in time. There are dark days ahead in this world and I am sick and tired of the insults you dish out everytime I stop and read your website. Enough is enough! Stop!
